We contracted Hans Nieuwoudt from HN Construction to build our 580m² house in De Wijnlanden, Stellenbosch. We are living in the house for 9 years now and are as happy with our house now than when we moved in on 1 April 2007. Although there were the normal hiccups during the construction phase we were always treated with the attitude that the client is right. Hans went out of his way to accommodate our needs and always tried to make a plan. What is most noteworthy is that HN Construction comes back to fix problems (>8 years later and at their expense).
During 2012-2013 we had the opportunity to build more properties in Schonenberg Estate (Somerset West) and also to do some alterations to our house in De Wijnlanden. Because we are so impressed with the quality of our first house, it was very easy to choose HN Construction again. As expected, all three later projects were a huge success. HN Construction is a trustworthy company and we can Highly recommend them.

Thanks for making the building of my house in Boskloof Eco Estate such a pleasurable experience! The hidden granite and steep slope of the plot made for a number of challenges, but in your calm and collected way, you came up with a solution for every challenge. I applaud your personal insight in technical matters, your ability to work in a team, as well as knowing when to refer to a specialist, e.g. an engineer.
You also have a very good eye for aesthetics. I will probably always remember the tears of appreciation which sprang to your eyes when you saw how beautiful my stone clad retainer wall turned out. Lastly but probably most importantly, thank you for being a most honest and trustworthy builder who really had my best interests at heart.
